From 1-95 Northbound or Southbound:

Exit from I-95 using exit 121 and proceed east on Alt US 264/ Raleigh Road. Proceed for 5.4 miles on Raleigh Road, following signs for Downtown Wilson and Barton College. Make left at College Drive.  Proceed three blocks on College Drive to Nash Street.  Turn right at Nash Street.  Proceed two blocks on Nash Street to Whitehead Avenue.  Make a left turn onto Whitehead Avenue and left again into the driveway of the Whitehead Inn.  Parking in rear.  (Travel time: 10 minutes.)

From Raleigh Durham International Airport(RDU) and points West:

Take US 540 East to US 264 East. Take exit 36B and make a left onto Alt 264, which becomes Raleigh Road. Proceed for 5.4 miles on Raleigh Road, following signs to Downtown Wilson and Barton College. Make left at College Drive.  Proceed three blocks on College Drive to Nash Street.  Turn right at Nash Street.  Proceed two blocks on Nash Street; turn left on Whitehead Avenue, and left again into the driveway of the Whitehead Inn.  Parking in rear.  (Travel time: approx. 50 minutes.)

From Rocky Mount/Wilson International Airport (RWI):

Upon exiting airport, make left onto NC Route 97.  Turn left onto Route 58. Continue on Route 58 nine miles. In Wilson, Route 58 turns into Nash Street. The Whitehead Inn is on the left, on the corner of Nash Street and Whitehead Avenue. Turn left onto Whitehead Avenue, and left again into the driveway of the Whitehead Inn. Parking in rear. (Travel time: 15 minutes.)

From Points East:

Drive westbound on US-264. Turn right (north) on US-301 to Ward Boulevard. Turn left onto Ward Boulevard, proceed to Raleigh Road. Turn right (east) on Raleigh Road. Follow signs for downtown Wilson and Barton College. Make left at College Drive.  Proceed three blocks on College Drive to Nash Street.  Turn right at Nash Street.  Proceed two blocks on Nash Street to Whitehead Avenue.  The Whitehead Inn is on the left, at the corner of Nash Street and Whitehead Avenue.  Parking in rear.
